Tuesday, April 1: "Love Hurts"
Tensions remain high after last week's brutal fistfight. Courtney's hopes
for litigation are dashed when her lawyer points out that she suffered only
bruising of the knuckles, while the chivalrous (and doughy) Jim is nursing a
broken jaw, fractured pelvis, and internal bleeding. Will Jim and
Courtney's marriage break up before Jim does? Not if surprise house guest
Dr. Phil McGraw has anything to say about it!

Episode Guide
Season 1, Episode 1 - "You'll Never Work In This Town Again"
Chaos erupts on the set of According to Jim, when the cast is informed that their sitcom will be retooled as a reality show. The threat of parental lawsuits is averted when it is revealed that the children's contracts cede full creative control to the producers. Jim threatens to walk, until the producers point out that ABC's new all-reality format means one-third fewer opportunities for C-list actors to find work.
Season 1, Episode 2 - "Aw, Nuts To You"
Wedding bells ring for the Belushi-Thorne-Smiths! But their nuptial bliss takes an ugly turn when Courtney, fed up with Jim's constant, unfunny clowning, kicks him square in the groin. Worse still, Jim's sore testicles may render him unable to consummate their vows. Will Jim and Courtney "do it"? Will your fragile psyche safely block out the horrible image if they do?
Season 1, Episode 3 - "I Didn't Order a Fruit Basket!"
The neighbors drop by to ask Jim to, please, shut the drapes if he's going to wander the house in nothing but a torn football Jersey and white cotton briefs, or at least change into the less revealing boxer shorts preferred by his character on According to Jim. Courtney flies into a rage when Jim unexpectedly invites his terrible band to practice their soulless, white blues at the house.
Season 1, Episode 4 - "That Was Really Bigamy"
The producers threaten to replace Jim after learning that Belushi failed to divorce his previous wife as instructed. Will viewers tune in next week to discover that Courtney has become Mrs. Doyle-Murray-Thorne-Smith? Fortunately, after consulting with his agent, Jim quickly sets things right.
Season 1, Episode 5 - "Well, He Was Here Thursday"
Jim and Courtney fly into a panic when they discover that Child Protective Services quietly whisked away their youngest child three days previous. But soon enough they're right back to severely neglecting the other two.
Season 1, Episode 6 - "And Your Butt's Fat, Too"
Courtney, concerned with a new smile line forming on her face, asks Jim if he thinks she's still the hot, nubile babe that wooed Mark Harmon in the comedy classic, Summer School. But when Jim points out that her neck is "kinda chickeny," she snaps.
